The small tropical island of Guam.

We had to get away for a couple of days. So we decided the best way to escape some Visa heat would be with some tropical heat...ya dig.

We arrived late at night to a full moon,

It was late and we were hungry and to our bitter disappointment the hotel didn't offer room service. We tried our luck with the local bush tucker, but the slippery things kept getting away.

The sun finally rose to give us our first proper glimpse of paradise.

On the way into town we got stuck in a bit of local human traffic.

The beach was looking mighty fine.

I really wanted a coconut for breakfast, so I found a pole next to a palm tree on the beach and ripped one down. It took me a good ten minutes trying to crack it open.

It finally broke open and I drank the juice from inside.

The thing wasnt ripe at all and it tasted pretty shit, but all in all it was worth it.

After a nice swim we got in our hire car and went bush. In search of some hidden beaches and something off the map.

The first beach we came to was closed, so he headed down an unmarked road in hope of finding something special. On the way we found this sweet church out in the middle of nowhere.

Hillbillies drove past and we stared chatting. They said if we wanted to see a proper beach we had to keep following the road until we saw their brother Victor.

Sure enough 10 minutes down the road we met a guy called Victor mowing his lawn out the front of his property. We told him that we had met his brothers and we wanted to visit his private beach. He was more then happy for us to take the car down his driveway and check it out.

Adam gave a really big tip that night, he felt a great connection with our waitress Joelyn. She truly did like him, but they both knew long distance wasn't going to work. So they parted ways that night, one a bit richer and the other a little less wiser.

The next day we went skydiving.

They tried to charge us $150 for photos of the experience.

After flying we got back in the car to explore the south of the island.

I decided to see if I could get to Osaka for as cheap as possible, so i set of on a crazy little mission with a chain smoking Frenchmen. The day started of with an early morning feed at Yoshinoya. Then it was to Shibuya Station where I got the ticket man to write me a list of local trains and times all the way to Osaka. It pretty much read that to get there we would have to change the train 10 times over ten hours....sweet. After being on the train for about an hour I realized that it would of been a good idea to pack some food with us. With only a few minutes between each train change there was no time to go to the toilet or to get food, so things got a bit messy and at one point I had to piss in a bottle on the platform while waiting to get on my next train.

We arrived in Osaka at around 7 o'clock - Cost of trip half a kids ticket each ( 30 yen ).

Got some street Takoyaki (Octopus Balls) which is one of Osaka's most famous dishes.

A cheap trip meant no accommodation, so after a few hours of exploring it was time to lay down the tarp and get a few hours rest.

In the morning I woke up to a traditional gay french salute.

We left Osaka at 7 in the morning and headed to Kyoto, the home of Temples. In the war America stopped bombing Kyoto in respect for how beautiful this city actually is.

After a quick look around Kyoto we rushed back to the station to get the 2pm back to Tokyo. While changing trains at some random station we thought we had enough time to get some food, this was a bad mistake that costed us an extra 2 hours. We got back to Shibuya at 12:30 on the last train, which was lucky any later and we would of been stranded. Cost of trip home (120 yen)

Tsukiji Market is best known as one of the world's largest fish markets, handling over 2,000 tons of marine products per day. The sight of the many kinds of fresh fish, shellfish and other seafood and the busy atmosphere of scooters, trucks, sellers and buyers hurrying around.

Heading to the fish market means either rising very early, or no sleep at all. I went for the no sleep option in fear of not being able to wake. I left my house at 430am and road to Shibuya where I boarded the first train to the Market.

I got there just in time to witness the daily Tuna auctions. Every morning before the fish market officially opens they conduct a buyers auction. All the days massive Tuna are lined up in rows and numbered. Each Tuna creates a competitive bidding war and who ever wins the Tuna carts it of to their store to sell to the general public.

My Mate Doug and I are fixing up our bikes for Christmas this year!!

We left it a bit late with everyone starting to shut down for Christmas and New Years. People tried to tell us that if we took our frames to them they wouldn't have them done until the new year. We wern't going to take no for an answer so we rang around Melbourne looking for places that would sandblast and powder coat our frames. After about 30 phone calls and quotes we found a sweet joint in mordy that sandblasted our frames quick smart,

After picking up the naked frames I went straight to Moorabbin were we had found a Powder Coating Business that was keen to get our bikes done in the next couple of days. Things are starting to pan out....It pays to ring around

School if finally over for the year, these last two weeks have been hectic, but great fun.

This fish pocket rocket number is awesome and so easy. Put your fish and what ever ingredients you would like to infuse with it onto a piece of tin foil, fold it up and place into the oven for 10mins.

Wednesday was beef day

This would have to be one of the tastiest steaks i've ever made or eaten, the wild mushroom and beef jew sauce was awesome, as was the potato rosti.!!

This was a quick an easy stack made with marinated lamb and eggplant crisps.

For our last dish we were given a piece of veal and told to get creative. We only had an hour, i made a veal schnitzel, with a kipfler potato mash and a tomato and broad bean napoli ...

That night i didnt eat dinner, mum was cooking steak!

I was in a short film the other day. My mate Ellery called me up a few days before the shoot and asked me if i was keen. I've never acted before, but it wasn't an opportunity to miss. So i wagged school for the day and headed down to Ellery's old holiday house in Hillsville.

The film was about a young kid going off to war and the confusion of the whole situation. Pretty much i played the kid going off to war and there was another lady who played my mother.

The whole situation was very new and exciting to me. It was interesting observing how a film is put together and all the different shots needed for each scene. Most of the time spent was setting up lights, cameras and the positioning of everything for each different scene. Acting is hard work!.......even tho i didnt have many lines.

The film should hopefully be edited by the end of the year, i'll post some more photos when i get sent screen shots.

My friend Jimmy and i made the last minute decision to go on a day trip during the long weekend. We decided to go to Cathedral Ranges which is about two and a half hours out of Melbourne. The night before we over packed making sure we had enough stuff JUST in case we stayed the night, tent, sleeping bags, hammer, hacksaw .....stuff like that. After a long drive we set off on a days hiking mission.

About ten minutes in i started to feel the wrath of being unfit, and the regret of not bring my asthma puffer along. An hour later i was tired and hungry, i had only eaten two pieces of toast all day and my stomach was asking for nice feeding!!
That was when it hit me, i had left the packing to Jimmy and all we had to eat and drink where two muesli bars and a small 250ml bottle of water!! With so little on hand the rationing started!! half a muesli bar each and a sip of water at a time.

About two hours in we made it to one of the Mountains peaks. The views where awesome, so we climbed up the rocks to get some sweet shots!.

Walking up the Mountain was considerably harder due to the fact we had no sweet hiking gear on. Instead we overcompensated with two jumpers each, some old dingy runners, jeans and a business shirt ( Jimmy ).

While on the walk Jimmy recognized the calls of the wonderful Lyre Bird. Excited to find the bird we followed its calls, scaling off the track deep up into the mountain.

The Lyre BIrd is rarely seen in their natural habitat and are most notable for their superb ability to mimic natural and artificial sounds from their environment.

And a few hours later we had made it too Cathedral peak...what a view

After seeing Wombat crossing signs everywhere we where hoping to come across one on the drive home.

Unfortunately this is all we got!

And after 8 hours of hiking with hardly any food or water, i decided to treat myself a nice Seafood dinner.
